Resources For Creating Traffic

17 04 2010
What is the reason you’re writing the article? The point is to get visitors and traffic to your website. The only place you can provide a pathway to your website is within your articles resource box. So you need to write one that will get a click.
One way to do that is to give the reader a reason to click. Maybe you just wrote a Pulitzer prize winning article on stock car racing, but you need more than a URL in the resource box to get them to continue to your website. Readers need a reason so give them one. Tease them with additional articles or tools, such as “For 10 Things You Must Know AboutÖ”
You can offer visitors free gifts. That word free is still an attention grabber so offer a free link, free report, newsletter or list of something.
It does not matter to the reader how great and wonderful you are so don’t brag about your accomplishments. Just keep your comments about yourself to a minimum with a hook. Something like Jim Doe won 2006 Realtor of the Year. Learn how he did it atÖ.
Use the resource box to link to a useful piece of information or resource on your site. It does not have to go to the front page. If you land the reader in a place where can find what they are looking for and search around from there they tend to stay longer. Link to what is most relevant to the topic the reader expects to find.
Linking to pages within your website also allows you to optimize the pages with the links. The anchor text should relate to the contents of the landing page. This will help in ranking your website for various terms within your niche.
For example if you have a website dealing with sports fishing and a page devoted to bass. By linking with a bass fishing anchor text to an interior page of your site that deals with bass fishing, it will help the search engines to recognize the various topics your website covers. Plus improve search engine results for those broadened terms. Directory submissions also assist in targeting keyword traffic.
Understand that articles will only bring you traffic if you provoke an interest in the reader to click. The links will help improve search engine results to get you noticed for those keywords and topics. So keep both of these factors in mind when writing your own resource box.

Do Pay Per Click Advertising Campaigns Really Work?

18 06 2009

Pay per click advertising works through search engines that have an agreement with a business. This business will place a small ad on the results page for certain key terms. The listing on the search engine page usually has a title, a short heading, and a short promotional wording blurb. Depending on the search engine, the advertiser may or may not get to control the text. The advertiser pays nothing to appear on the results page itself. He or she only pays a previously agreed upon amount to the search engine when a visitor clicks on the ad itself.

Despite its popularity and its once record profit returns, pay per click advertising has lost something in returns. It is still, however, one of the best, fastest, and most effective methods of advertising on the web. According to Google’s record profit posting recently, lots of people see these ads and click on them. While it is true that pay per click advertising is only worth it if the sale gets from click to close, those businesses that do manage to close the sale have an excellent deal in their hands with pay per click. This means that customers are usually directed to their site for about five cents each, depending on the price of the key word. Pay per click advertising is even better than high search engine rankings because the ads can go up in just a few minutes while changing your web page content to improve your rankings, even with the help of a search engine oriented text company, can take weeks.

There are many different current companies that offer pay per click advertising. Google’s pay per click program is called AdWords. Google estimates that over eighty percent of internet users visit Google as a search engine. That results more customers seeing the ads than most businesses ever thought possible. Google allows you to create your own ads. They do, however, have a service that will design your ad for you if you choose. Yahoo is the other most popular pay per click program. Yahoo’s Overture works through partner sites like MSN and Alta Vista. Through these many sites, they claim to allow you to reach over ninety percent of internet users.

Choosing a company to sign up with can be difficult, but the most difficult part of pay per click advertising will be the planning and writing stages. To make the best pay per click ad campaign, you have to bid on key word phrases that work best for you, write the most effective ads, and have a strong, quality page when they click on your ad. The price of some key word phrases is extraordinarily high, so picking the right phrases immediately is your best bet. If you know how to catch the customer’s attention and offer them a perfect presentation, you will get the sale almost every time. If you don’t, you will lose some serious money with pay per click advertising.

Some people recommend using a search engine oriented professional to design your pay per click advertising campaign. However, the right campaign can be self-managed, with the right skills. You need some understanding of consumer psychology, excellent writing skills, and plenty of time to research what will work for you. Before you get ready to start your pay per click campaign, be sure to do some research into what is out there with regard to your product or services. When you get ready to write, you’ll want to notice that the best campaigns are legitimize by what their pages declare about them. Without that legitimacy, your ad will not only fail, it may be removed by your pay per click service. The search engine company you choose to work with may be able to help you find the right key words, but their suggestions can sometimes be ineffective. You can find the best key words by using several services and performing web research on a regular basis.

Pay per click advertising campaigns can be very effective if your ad is well written and if your target site helps to complete the sale with the customer. Without these elements, pay per click advertising is simply a waste of your valuable time and money. You would be better off with a traditional ad campaign.

To help you find campaigns that work, use Google Detective. This tool will not only identify successful campaigns, it will also show you how you can replicate that campaign in minutes. Try out the Google Detective free trial now.

Seo – Crafting Keyword Enriched Pay Per Click Ads

18 06 2009

If you are trying to craft a clever title for a pay per click ad one of the simplest ways to get people’s attention is to use a keyword search engine inventory tools such as the ones offered for free by Overture or Google. The title of your pay per click ad is the first line of your ad on Google or the line that appears in hypertext on Yahoo. Cleverly constructing your ad word copy so that you get the most commonly searched keyword somehow concisely expressed into your Google ad has been proven to double and even triple your click-thru rates for targeted customers.

The reason this works is because when surfers do a search for a specific product, such as “SEO Site Analyzer” the title (first line) of your Google Ad says exactly that then the search engine is most likely to grab your advertisement over someone else’s and place it at the top of it’s hierarchy of ads. Furthermore, even though your ad is not first or second in the search engines, using the exact title is more likely to simply grab the attention of the surfer who then exclaims “That is just what I am looking for!” as he points and click on your site.

It is not just the title of your Google Ad that should be optimized. It is even more effective to combine different keywords into all three lines of text that you are allowed. If you can manage to do this while keeping the content of your ad exclusive and specific then you should see sales and conversions on your site rocket. Also if you get a lot of clicks through a pay per click ad campaign then the increased amount of visitors to your site that results could end up in pushing your website URL to the top of the search engine page rankings!

The Magical Power Of Pay Per Click Advertising

18 06 2009

Getting targeted traffic to your website is the secret to online success. When starting out with a new site it is often a problem getting real visitors without the help of the search engines. Getting recognized by the search engines in a competitive niche is going to be difficult for a few months, so you must find other effective ways to attract customers. That’s where the power of PPC (pay per click) comes into play.

PPC traffic is about as targeted and cost friendly as advertising can get. Buyers see your ads posted on the search engine results pages. The ads are relevant to the subject that the customer was searching and if they are interested then they will click your link. You only pay when someone actually clicks. These customers are interested in what you are selling or giving away at your site. This is why they are referred to as targeted. These people were already interested in that subject and now its up to your website to convince them to produce a sale.

One of the most important things that a successful PPC advertiser does is track and tweak the ads that they run. Seeing what works and what does not work can make a difference in an advertising campaigns success. Often you can change one word in an ad and the conversion rate can double. It is amazing how people react to words that create emotion. Trying to use one of your keywords in the ad to help keep the ad relevant to the content of your website or sales page. There are several good ebooks out there that can teach you how to optimize your PPC ads so that you get the best click conversion as possible. I highly recommend anything written by Perry Marshall. He is presently the best PPC guru in the business.

The number one complaint by PPC users is the way that your advertising cost can accumulate very quickly while running an Internet business campaign.  If you bid high on popular keywords, you will get ranked higher in the ad placements and many people will see and click your link often. This can become expensive very fast. You must set a budget and also figure out the maximum you can afford to pay per day. Most PPC programs will let you set a limit on cost on a daily basis. In most cases, you can get can get good results with less popular keywords and still bid only 35-65 cents per click!

As stated before, PPC brings instant targeted traffic to your website sales page. Once you get the visitors to your website you must be set up to turn these people into buying customers. Converting this traffic into cash becomes your responsibility, so prepare for the flood of people who will come knocking.

The biggest stumbling block for most home business owners is marketing their business.

When advertise on search engines you purchase clicks, you pay for only clicks you receive. When you look at search engine results and rankings don’t believe all these results are from free traffic, many gurus use paid advertising to get the results they want and to get to the front page of the search engines. Businesses buy advertising on specific search phrases, and are then charged each time a person clicks through to their web site. Using the pay per click advertising you can get you site up to the top 10 in no time.

Pay per click advertising companies provide targeted traffic to your website, meaning everybody who comes to your website are looking for your products or services. Its very easy to place a pay per click ad, find the keywords your want to use, write the ad header and the body, put you link in and choose the amount of money you want to spend.

Choosing to bid on the right keywords can be key to your pay per click success. Choosing the wrong keywords will negate even the most well planned Pay Per Click.

COPY a shockingly EASY formula for revenue tonight…

10 05 2009

Here’s a dirty little secret that I don’t think many “wealth” gurus want you to uncover …. You see … people go to all these books, seminars (real estate, you name it!), etc They go there and learn a ton about how to create killer revenue streams and say to themselves “Wow, what a great idea…. I better try that”. Then they go back to their lives…. and NOTHING EVER HAPPENS. That’s about 90% of people who never take action on what they learn. Now, what about the 10% who (I suspect like yourself) who do take action? Here’s the 2nd harsh reality … what’s taught to you is NEVER the bird’s eye view of how they do it. They tell you to “learn”. They give you bits and pieces to stumble over. … and it’s all kind of misleading unless you’re willing to endure all the time and effort. I saw something very different recently…. arguably REVOLUTIONARY. Check this out right now.

(you will regret not seeing it) —> CopyNProfit <—-

The guys behind this are showing their EXACT recipe (entire bird’s eye view) of what to copy and bring in $350/day streams over and over. It just does not get any easier than this. You literally COPY what they show and see if the operation makes profit … and it will. You have to actually TRY to mess this one up! They understand your struggle (they went through this themselves) … copying is easier and faster than learning and here, it works a hell of a lot better! To tell you the truth, for creating automated revenue, I wish I had this to copy when I first started affiliate marketing. So go in and COPY it now. You will be pleasantly surprised.

6 04 2009

However, there are some business owners who are already using the techniques of email marketing create business for themselves and gain a competitive advantage. Although not much knowledge about email marketing is not an immediate threat to your business, you should start learning about this concept to ensure it does not become a problem for you more late more and more business owners in a niche to begin taking advantage of the concept of email marketing. This article provides information on email marketing which should be useful to business owners who have no experience with the subject.

Business owners should first understand the options available to them in terms of email marketing. The most common options include sending mass emails with promotional materials, publishing and distributing newsletters and offering correspondence courses via email. The advantage of these marketing strategies is the ability to reach a worldwide audience. Unlike traditional marketing such as television and radio and print ads that reach audiences in a limited area anyone with Internet access can receive your e-mail marketing techniques.

E-mails of mass are the most popular form of email marketing. This includes e-mails that are sent to hundreds, thousands or even millions of recipients at once. The problem with this type of marketing is to have your e-mails considered as spam. This is likely to occur if you send your messages to recipients who have no interest in your products or services and have not expressed interest in receiving emails from you.

E-newsletters are also increasingly popular as a form of email marketing. E-newsletter can be simple or complex as you prefer and May include text, graphics, advertisements, links or any combination thereof. One of the first decisions you have to make is whether you want to make your e-newsletter strictly text or graphics in the e-newsletter. If you are on a tight budget, may be useful to include the text to avoid the need to hire a graphic artist. May you be able to integrate graphics, but you wonít look nearly as professional as the graphics provided by a professional. Similarly, you can certainly write your own copy of your e-newsletter, but you’ll likely create a much better impression if you hire a professional writer to create content for you.

Hiring a professional graphic designer and a professional writer May seem foreign expenditure, but it is quite important. Your e-newsletter in May of first impression for many potential customers you and your work, it is important to ensure that everything is of the highest quality.

Correspondence courses offered by e-mail is the latest marketing strategy by e-mail we will discuss. May these courses is offered for a fee and become a source of income themselves or they May be made available free of charge. The theory behind offering these courses is free, they often contain subtle advertising urging visitors to invest in products and services offered by your company. Whether you are responsible for your message or offer them free lessons, care should be taken to ensure that the information contained in these courses is completely accurate. This is critical because potential customers who receive these email courses will be judging your company based on the quality and accuracy of the current e-mail. If they are filled with errors the potential customer in May questioned the quality of your work and find the products and services offered by others including your direct competitors.

Email Marketing And Clean Windows

6 04 2009

Terri exits her vehicle and makes her way to her favorite shopping mall. Once inside she meets her best friend Carley and they stopped for one of those hot pretzels with dipping sauce while they catch up on their week. It starts to rain so the two spent more time in the mall while they waited for the storm to pass. In that moment both were glad it had rained because it gave them time to visit while shopping, but as is typical sunshine often follows rain.

Terri draped her bags over her arms and ventured back to her SUV. She used her keyless remote to open the door and entered the driver’s side and buckled up. That’s when she noticed it.

The front window was multi-colored as sales flyer and handbills oozed color onto her windshield. She tried using her windshield wipers to clear off the debris, but it simply smeared the mess over the entire surface of the window making the mess more pronounced than when she started.

“Why would someone do this to me?” she said as she slapped her fist against the steering wheel.

To be fair, the individuals placing the flyers on the windshield probably didn’t know rain was coming and there certainly were more flyers than Terri was used to seeing, but the end result was a potential consumer who would never think of purchasing a product from whoever made a mess of her SUV.

This story is a bit like unwanted email marketing. People who are new to the Internet typically think of their email box as an extension of their mailbox. The hope is that the mail received would be beneficial and personal. The belief is that email is reserved for people you actually know who will send you electronic mail that you are thrilled to receive, yet time after time emails come from people and businesses they don’t know selling products they either don’t want or would never use and the email recipient becomes a very unhappy camper and are often disillusioned about the personal nature they thought was associated with email.

It’s as if the colorful email marketing is smeared across their computer screen and they wonder, “Why would someone do this to me?” In this type of case there is the underlying feeling that their privacy has been compromised. Some may even shake their heads wondering how anyone even found their email address.

This scenario emphasizes the need to provide an opt out methods for email marketing, but it still has the feel of junk mail, telemarketers or colorful flyers stuck on the windshield after a rainstorm ñ an undesirable nuisance.

Many businesses are using site registration as the means of capturing email addresses. When a customer receives email marketing from these businesses they should already know about the business and their products or services.

This type of email marketing is much better received and carries with it both goodwill and a measure of trust. You may start with a smaller list, but the recipients tend to like you better.
